Wednesday was the first day in pads and it got interesting.
**Early on the defense is all or nothing. They seem to get a sack, if they were allowed to hit the QB, or get beat by the pass. Demarcus Ware is schooling Tyron Smith but that is to be expected since not many can block Ware.
**Some of the young pass rushers are off to a great start. Tyrone Crawford has a burst about him and is wreaking havoc on the interior offensive line.
**Seems to be a pattern emerging at CB. Everywhere Dez goes you see first round pick Morris Clairborne. It's not always been successful as Dez caught a long TD pass from Romo but the rookie came back and was able to slow Dez down a bit.
**Cowboys secondary coach Jerome Henderson wants the cb's to stay on top of the wide receivers. This group appears to be a lot more physical than last years crop.
**One of the young wide receivers is having a good camp and this on top of a good OTA. That would be Raymond Radway who caught a deep TD pass from Romo with Clairborne on his back.
**Too many false starts by the offense. The first team had three in an eight-play span in the first two team periods. The second-team offense had one.
I'll post again next week and How Bout Them Cowboys
