This Is What I'm Hearing

Apparently on 183 now

Mack himself probably paid to have that put up.

Wouldn't this be under Alabama law? Since, if they sue it will be done in their state? I'm no lawyer but wouldn't it be based on which state the person lives and works that breaches the contract? Any one know?
My original post was responsive to the issue of whom Mack might sue for interference with his contract. If Alabama were to sue for interference with Saban's contract, that's a different set of facts. The question of which state's law controls when the parties live in different states is out of my expertise--often, it's where the legal injury occurs, but not always.

But if the rumors are true that Saban has no buyout clause in the extension he purportedly signed--i.e., assuming that he can terminate at will with no penalty--and further assuming that interference in Alabama requires inducement to breach and not merely terminate a contract, then Alabama's case for interference wouldn't be much better than Mack's.
