SignUp Now!Maybe, but even bluffing about a lawsuit is a pretty stupid move.He is bluffing. He would never be welcome back, he is not that stupid.
First if you recognize my handle from OB you will know I am not a Mack Brown fan. Good riddance.PDX, I'm curious as to your reasons for not believing this report?
Thanks PDX....of course I recognize your handle. How's your Dad doing? Thanks for taking the time to respond. All I have to say is you might be underestimating the lengths Mack is willing to go to at this point.First if you recognize my handle from OB you will know I am not a Mack Brown fan. Good riddance.
To me it just seems way too Days of Our Lives sensationalistic to be true.
Second he voluntarily resigned on national TV. He would seem to have zero case.
Third if there was any threat of this through back channels I find it hard to believe he would be allowed to coach the bowl game.
Fourth. Outside of Leach (who was fired) has there ever been a HC who sued their school?
Mack has already alienated many fans this would take that to a new level. For someone who others have said he wants to be in a DKR emeritus role around campus this would end any chance that would ever happen.
As an FYI I am always in the never say never camp but hope this is not true. Just my $.02 on the matter.
I also think this sounds extreme. If true, it is probably just an attempt to block a Saban deal. Thanks for sharing but I don't believe that at all.
Interesting. It is interesting to note that Forde only had one source for his article so it must have been a very good source in Forde's eyes...(MB/JJ?).Who thinks there is any connection between this threat (which I think is being floated through back channels, but is most likely a bluff), the Forde article blaming Powers, and the "Class Act" Mack Brown billboard on 183?
