They've had "this is SEC country" billboards in Houston, Austin, and Dallas for a while now.

OU has billboards in Houston too.

I seriously doubt anyone in the real SEC country considers any place in Texas "SEC Country" and thank goodness for that. I don't want to be identified with the deep south, thank you very much.

A&M has nothing to sell but SEC, SEC, SEC. It's pitiful. Can that institution ever just stand alone or does it always need to sponge off of something/someplace/someone else to have an identity?

The kid is a big nuisance and the SEC will find out as time goes on. The aggies are a bunch of winners begging for attention and they don't care who gives it to them. TexasEx thanks for the help but If you know me at all I still spell the way the word sounds and spelling is not my strong point in fact It just a JimsTexas thing and I still catch hell on my spelling and I have learned to live with it. I probably don't have a strong point. Just a life long Texas fan since 1957 when I seen my first Texas OU game. For me the Texas/a$m game has always taken a back seat to the Texas/OU game. I'll concede...Brazos county is SEC country. You can even throw in a lot of the Golden Triangle because of the presence of LSU. The rest of Texas? That's wishful thinking on the part of agricultural.
