There is ONE thing that points to Saban leaving Alabama.

There are multiple inside sources who say he is leaving and say he is staying. We (UT fans) think our source is better than theirs. They (Bama fans) think theirs is better than ours. In all of the posturing there is ONE thing that Bama fans need to consider about all of this. RECRUITING!!

How would any coach allow these rumors to persist when EVERY other coach can use it against them to poach a recruit? I mean Saban knows what UT has offered and he knows what Bama has offered. Of course he could be playing them off each other for more money. But this has to be killing him on the recruiting trail. With all that in mind. If he was staying, he would have publicly said so by now.

Good point. Also that he hasn't signed the extension to put this all to rest and get on with business at Bama which is what anyone would want to do in a similar position. It's too distracting.

Having said that, I'm less confident every day that he's coming.

to be fair, many of the recruits he's visiting have done interviews stating that they got the impression that saban was committed to being at alabama. so while he might not be answering the larger question publicly, it is coming up in conversation.

Plus Momma wants out....."Momma not happy nobody happy"
Bama QB said last night the exact opposite - said he couldn't imagine her allowing Saban to leave.

Who the hell knows.

"Insiders" have said 100% he.s coming, other insiders said contract has been finalized, etc

I ain't buying any of it untill a press conference happens

Yes, but he has to say that since Alabama is paying to have him fly around in their plane. He can't go in there and say I am going to Texas. Every recruit would put it on twitter.

Wouldn't their sources concerning Saban be better than our sources? Just sayin.
No, because if you're the CEO at some big company and another heavyweight poaches your top executive, you're going to be the dead last person to find out.
