Merrick, vink, and holtz stayed by coaches entire game. Locksley walked around talking to different players and was never by coaches learning.

In Swoopes' defense ...

OK, who am I kidding, there is no defense.

Buechele is on a different planet from Ty, and as much as we all wanted him to be the second coming of VY, he just doesn't have whatever IT is to play consistently at a high level. He's had flashes, but never any consistency. I've tried to blame Mack for burning his redshirt and killing an entire year, but in reality it wouldn't have made a difference. He's still a tight end wearing 18 instead of 81. Maybe Gilbert will find some packages for him. And they need to keep Heard engaged and ready.

Buechele will technically be a true freshman in the fall, but in reality, an early enrollee is not really a true freshman. True, he lacks game experience, but these spring practices and the time he spends with his receivers this summer will make a huge, huge difference compared to a QB who doesn't enroll until the summer.

I'm hoping this team can revive the memory of 1977 ... just get the ball into the hands of the RB and let them do they thang like Earl did. Not saying Foreman and Warren are Earl ... also not saying the two of them can't put up 1,800 between them.

Hook 'em.

My thoughts on Shane.....What impressed the very most, and I mean VERY most was the way he handled the team. I saw more times than I could count him grabbing the running back and putting him in the correct position to start the play. A FRESHMAN grabbing guys and literally putting them in their place.....and the guys responding to it like Tom Brady had told em...wow!...He gets the ball out FAST. He also has a terrific ability to sense pressure from his blind side.

On the other hand he over threw several wide open deep balls, and he was just a bit too casual with quick outs that could have/should have been pick 6 for the Defense.....but man, those things will come with a little more experience.

barkeep....another round of the kool-aide!

What does it say? Not showing for me.
It has probably been deleted. It was a tweet from Locksley saying he wish he would have known, he would have saved his mom the money for airfare.

Basically complaining that he didn't see the field during the spring game. At least that is the way it was taken.

Well, based on all the various practice reports I've read, I'd say he should've known he wouldn't be getting very many reps during the spring game.
