Sources: Mack Browns "slow walk" to Powers/Patterson meeting likely to delay entire process.

Banquet cannot be delayed and starts at 6:30pm
If this is true, it's extremely lame.

Seriously, walking slowly?

Cue up that Benny Hill video again.

Wouldn't surprise me to see the meeting pushed till tomorrow. Bobby, posted over on Horns247 that Mack was supposed to be back in Austin by now but that the recruits were also scheduled to start arriving now as well. Pretty sure Mack will be front and center to greet them as they arrive. Banquet at 6:30, so I don't really see a way for them to meet, unless its a short and very quick meeting, which I doubt will be the case.

At this point I don't think they are going to announce until Dead Period so whether it's today or tomorrow I don't think it really matters.

from Urban Dictionary -

1. slow walk

To slow walk is to perform a task slowly on purpose so as to drag out the time taken, usually in order to delay what the subject believes will occur next.

"Quit slow walking me!" - Quote from the TV show "Prison Break" (a prison guard instructing the prisoners to hurry up with their work, the prisoners were delaying as they used work-time as a cover for their escape)

Whilst a child might "drag his heels" when eating his dinner because he doesnt like it; an adult might be said to "slow walk".

Whilst workers might be said to be on a "go slow", that might be more of an organised event involving more than one person. Slow walking would more typically be one person slow walking another rather than an institution.

slow walking drag your heels go slow pick up the pace hastily

2. slow walk

Tounging a path from the asshole to the clit slowly.

We like to spen an afternoon slow walkin in the buff.

people really pay attention to that guys twitter over many other sources? I doubt Mack is taking his time getting to Powers office and is trying to F around as much as some say. Reports on IT today have things a lot less heated . rather its today, tomorrow whatever. its going to happen and Mack is done. I suspect this is all wrapped up by Monday.

Mack is getting paid $20,000 every work day. So far, he has screwed us for an additional $100,000 and the meter is running. I hope the students think about that when they pay next semester's tuition bills.

there is no meeting...Mack knows hes gone..this is just more about trying to save Macks face ..wether its Saban or not Macks gone.

Think Mack needs a hug or a cookie?

Update: Bobby just posted that Mack wasn't with the recruits right now and he doesn't know if he's in the meeting or off campus right now or tied up with something else.

Let's be real though Randolph, he was getting that 100,000 either way. He's in the tenure of his contract right now. If we're paying out the contract, as we're said to be doing, he would have gotten that money anyways. He'll just be getting 100,000 less in the overall payout.

he;s going to get a big payment on the way out too. I dont like it, but its going to happen. Just so we can move on already is all I really care about though

I always have to go to a meeting when there is work to do. Just seems that way. Mack has a lot to do!?

If Mack would have worked as hard the last four years as he has in the last four days trying to avoid getting fired he might still have a job.

You don't actually believe that do you?

The simplest yet best statement I've seen on this entire subject.
