Excellent article - Dan Jenkins is just greatness.  I was pretty young in 1963 but over the years my Dad has spoken often of that incredible weekend in Dallas - the upset of Navy by a scrappy SMU team, UT destroying ou & Joe Don Looney and vaulting to #1 in the country after FL upset Bama.
