The Difference in Longhorn Sites.......

I do not pay a membership for any of the sites I read. I read shaggy, 247, orangebloods, barking carnival, BON and hornfans. I rarely post on sites mainly because I do not know anyone personally that post on these sites and I feel that I may be crashing someones party. But I do enjoy any information I can get.

Shaggy can be fun to read. I especially enjoy the game threads. Keep in mind with shaggy you have to be careful with kids in the room or at work, you just never know what will be posted. Any posters with so called inside info will be degraded true or not. Shaggy can get tiresome weeding through the BS and sarcasm.

I used to really enjoy Hornfans but it has really fallen off in the last few years. I really don't understand all of the politics with that site but it used to have good information not so much any more. There are a few weekly threads that I still log on to read after games and such.

Orangebloods and 247 I just read what interests me when it is free.

I enjoy BC and BON for the articles and game analysis.

I am glad I found this site. I can get info that I wouldn't from other sites without a subscription. Thanks to folks that started this site.

Really enjoying the site, good discussion with people treating each other with respect

I get the OB bashing, the next good civil discussion will be the first one but I stay for the community. I've gotten the chance to meet McPhaul at the Happy Hours, as well as countless other posters on the board, gone to great tailgates, gotten great career advice, the list goes on. Whoever said it has become more of a social site is pretty spot on. Just avoid the pissants and you'll be cool.
