I actually agree with your post. In MM, I see talent and intangibles that are very rare. I don't know who will start next year for the good guys, but Murphy has the stuff to really be great.

About 50 miles. Hope you get the 10 pointer. The crossing site is just a part of Texas history and Red River county.

I was welcomed on the lease with a stipulation. A long-time friend of mine runs the lease. I agreed to take only one buck of at least 8 pts. So once that is done, I'm just hunting a doe for some added meat to my freezer although there are enough hogs out there that it could feed a small nation.

K state lacks dynamic WRs. Our run defense has stiffled all opponents this year. They do have 2 runnings QBs and that has given us fits this year. I think we let the d-line stuff the run and work to contain the QBs. LBs and a DB here and there key on the QB run game and trust the DBs to hang with athletically limited WRs.

They will score on us at times, probably close to one of the highest scores we give up this year.

On offense, we SHOULD be able to move them around in the run game and if MM has as good a game as last week while avoiding TOs I think our offense will find at worst inconsistent success.

It'll come down to the 4th qtr - 35-31 Texas

While this game scares me a little, I’m of the opinion that if we are truly a playoff contender as obviously many of you believe, we should be able to handle this team. Everyone has to step up and dominate the person on the other side of the line of scrimmage from the first snap. If we don’t let them in the game, they won’t be in the game!!

I don't think the story line for this game is any different than it was going into last years game.
This game will be won in the trenches. K St rushing offense vs Texas' defense and Texas' rush offense against their defense. Hopefully Maalik does enough to extend drives when the running game comes up short on 2nd down.
