I got Texas winning but I’m concerned about our secondary against the UH WR’s.

SignUp Now!If they were taken by suprise, where were the scouting reports? Dillon ran all of last yeat ( when healthy) and same this year Should be a game that's won by half time. But it has been a very long time since Texas dominatedgames like talent says they should. Back to the DKR and Akers daysThis game will be a good indicator of how much Texas has solved their approach to the QB run game. I think Dillon Gabriel took them a bit by surprise in Dallas but it'll be no surprise that UH QB will rely on the QB run game and scrambles.
With 2 weeks to prep I sure hope the Defense has a good plan to contain such a QB and that this is something we can carry forward in a possible rematch against OU.
It kind of felt like they dominated 0u last year, right? If they were taken by suprise, where were the scouting reports? It was the most rushes by Gabriel ever, and a lot were designed runs, not scrambles. Everyone knows he can run but OU hadn't shown it to be that much of the gameplan so far this year.If they were taken by suprise, where were the scouting reports? Dillon was an average runner last year. There is nothing special about his running ability. He just goes where people ain't.If they were taken by suprise, where were the scouting reports? Look at the second partI got Texas winning but I’m concerned about our secondary against the UH WR’s.
Good call.Look at the second part
Score wise but SHA would been a better QB.It kind of felt like they dominated 0u last year, right?![]()
Yes I do. But was responding to a post that said Dillon running suprised Texas a little. In the games I saw of ou last year Dillon rolled out and ran quite a bit. To me saying Dillon does not run much is like Caleb does not run.Dillon was an average runner last year. There is nothing special about his running ability. He just goes where people ain't.
ou had not run Gabriel as they did against Texas. Your assumption that somehow Texas doesn't do scouting reports is a little bizarre. You know better.
Imagine coaches not showing all thier plays saving them for big game. Belive several said Sark was doing this for ou. ou won no matter how same as Texas did today. It was the most rushes by Gabriel ever, and a lot were designed runs, not scrambles. Everyone knows he can run but OU hadn't shown it to be that much of the gameplan so far this year.
Gabriel spent several games in street clothes last year, including the RRR. Dillon Gabriel was really nothing to fear going into the game. He played his best game ever that day. Good for him.Yes I do. But was responding to a post that said Dillon running suprised Texas a little. In the games I saw of ou last year Dillon rolled out and ran quite a bit. To me saying Dillon does not run much is like Caleb does not run.
Wishing and hoping for a UT blowout 56-10 ? To allow Murphy and orher subs to get some meaningful playing time. But the more likely scenario is that Sark and coach K allow the coogies to hang around , finally pulling away late. Tx 35-17.
Looks like you're this week's winner. Congratulations! So I was 4 points off. ...ha...
The second sentance will coninue to be the theme till the end of the yesr
