Burton just said that a high ranking source just told him that a decision on Mack should happen in the next 48 hours.

 
Almost assured he is done. No high ranking official is going to say a decision is to be made if it was Mack staying IMO.

I just want all this shit to end. Make a decision and lets move on. Hopefully, Mack is gonna ride off into the sunset and be named the Texas Football Ambassador or some shit like that.

I don't see how this can be his option. If we want to fire him, we can fire him. The only issue would be the cost.

 
This is good news. When is the last time someone put a 48 hour stopwatch on the status quo?

 
If Mack is out and Saban is indeed the new coach, I would imagine Saban would want an official announcement after the Heisman. Wouldn't he be in NYC supporting McCarron this weekend?
