The 10-12 Silents . . .

#1 RB in the country is Gibson. He's a strong lean to Texas.  The Texas HS RBs going out of state were not pursued by Choice. Like texbound said, he sees something others don't. He's got skins on the wall and I'll trust that.
Per 24/7 #1 RB is Tatum guess it depends on what rating service you use. IfI hang around 4 more years I will get back on this.

Just checked to see if my data was old. Justfor infro.

24/7 Tatum #1 RB by position # 42 player rated 95

24/7 Gibson #2 by position  #  86 player rated 93

24/7 Peoples  #3 by position  # 94 player  rated 93

ON3 Frazier (mater dei) #1 byposition.

Gibson  #2 byposition   #3 Tatum  #13 Peoples  #25 Clark

Looks like services vary .These are two I can acess and ESPN which I do not like.

No boubt if Clark signs with Texas he will move up the charts, they alwats do.

And yes low ranked players do very good sometimes. Odds favor the higher ranked players. Most want 5* or high 4* so it take your choice and hope.

So for no one has signed or commited, but I am sure ready for some to do so.
He's a 4-star RB. What is this "low ranked player" thing?

Did it ever occur to you that not all kids in Texas give UT a look? Peoples didn't want to come here, so he's not.

Like someone said above, if Choice likes him, he's good. I trust a coach over rankings anyway.

Not sure what you mean by  this low ranked thing. Clark is ranked 25 or 26 by two services And that is "lower ranked than several Texas RBs.Did it ever occur to you not to read things in my posts that are not there,

I have been around long enough to know some kids could care a tinkers dam about Texas.

I never said these Texas RBs was interesred in Texas.(  elive Tatum was) Just wondered why go after a #26 RB ifhigher ranked ones were availavle

We are talking about some one who might sign and might not. belive he is 90+% to Texas.

I understood your post perfectly. Thats why I asked if it had occurred to you . . .

We went after Tatum and those other backs. Some lost interest in us, other we lost interest in. Peoples isn't far from Austin but it seemed he was open to anything that wasn't in Texas.

Well we will see how it plays out. Who signs (witch does not mean to much) where Know you liked Peoples.

I think Texas is planning on taking 2 RBs in this class. I think Texas has zeroed in on Gibson as their #1 guy and Clark is #2.  Gibson is a stud and Clark seems to be a good compliment back that can do a lot of different things.  Much like Baxter and Wisner in 23.

Always want to have at least 4, preferably 5, viable RBs in the room.  Robinson is gone after this year, Baxter, Red and Wisner will likely be here, but unsure about Blue and Brooks.  If Brooks has the type of season we're all hoping for then he could bolt for the draft.  Who knows about Blue. He has flirted with the portal multiple times.  It's possible Texas could lose 3 backs (Robinson, Brooks and Blue).

Blue probably won't leave. I expect him to get plenty of carries this season. Blue improved a lot during the spring and appears to be highly motivated.
