Thanks for the memories Mack

Great post Dizz. I'll never forget the feeling of sheer adulation and excitement when Mack coached Texas to a national title with VY. He did much much much more good than bad.

It's time to remember Mack for the good that he's done.

However it ends up I can say this - Mack turned around what could have been a disastrous season for Texas. I have always been in the camp that thinks we need a change after this season but what he and his staff accomplished after the 1-2 start was stellar IMO.
I hear you, but Mack is the reason we started 1-2 and Mack is the reason Diaz was kept through the BYU game and Mack gets paid way, way too much not to have fired Diaz after last season. Sorry, but getting paid the 2nd highest coaching salary in the country for the last 4 seasons is absolutely nothing to thank Mack for in my opinion.

agree...and mack new many was a concern thats why he hired gregg in the first place...mack is just as responsible and many ...hell hes more responsible...

reportedly Mack shed tears in the locker room to the team.. sad to hear and that he couldn't go out on top but everyone must accept responsibility and Mack must realize his time is up. Cheers to a change and a brighter future. Hook Em

It can be if he decides to do the right thing and not be stubborn.

Mack was not underpaid this year. He is paid as a top 5 coach, this year and every year.

He did a credible job with the turnaround, but we never should've been in that position. It was BCS or bust for him this year, just like he said last year.

Mack was livid today at Major per a report on IT and told him so at the half. Major was defiant. the last gasps from a desperate man

Major did not have a qb he could use. I don't care of Bill Walsh came back from the dead, not a single OC could do anything today with our offensive personal .

Nope. Mack is done. If he isn't, this is the worst run program in the country.
I think you might be right, it reminds me of the John Blake era at ouSuxx

Whos fault is that?

12/34. 54 yards, hahahahahahahaha.

Baylor gained more yards catching Case McCoy passes than Texas players. 60-54.

Oh I blame Mack. I just don't think Major is as much to blame as is Mack. Mack has given him nothing to work with
good point, i agree Major isnt as bad as Mack puts him in position to be.
