TEXASSTRONG ERA BEGINS: What Are Your Top 3 Must See Games This Year? Why..

1. byu - this may be the first real test of the "strong" era. byu will be ready to play in austin. "strong" will be ready to test his team.

2. ucla - this game shall most likely be played at "jerry's world". this shall be a big fun event with lot's of media. many fans in attendance.

3. oklahoma - need i say more? this game this year in lieu of the "strong" era, shall be epic. a media sensation. major proportional event.

Nothing "most likely" about UCLA in Jerry world.. . .but good list. . .

BYU UCLA Baylor and OU 4 of the 1st 6 games. . .

Coach Strong might field a better team with a poorer record in 2014. . .

Have not seen many top games coinciding with the BYU game (looked up Bama and A&M --- both play softies)

Game 3 - is the tough one to pick. There are several good choices but I am gonna go UCLA bc I sat thru one of the bad ones, for which we still owe them. And then I sat and watched the 2nd one with my gf from ........ UCLA. Her ucla sorority friends kept phoning her during that particular disaster, saying "put the fone to his ear" so I could hear them screaming. I obviously never forgot that. So this one is personal.

Definitely the first game. The place will be abuzz for sure. Get your tickets well in advance.

UCLA = Reminiscent of Mack's first year. Texas traveled to Cali to take on a good UCLA team with Cade McNown and lost but showed fight til the end. You could tell that Texas was on their way back just from that. Same type of situation this year with UCLA being top 10 material. Will show Strong how far he has to go.

OU = The first meeting between these coaches since Strong's defense beat ou in 2008 for the NC. I expect Texas to have swagger and play lights out. Will not be a Stoops blowout.
