Beau Hossler, the UT golf commit and high school senior finished tied for 29th at +9. Not bad for a 17 year old kid. Imagine how this went down with his friends.... Beau's friends to one another - "Hey, what did you do this weekend?" "Oh I went to the movies and went cruisin' on Main Street." When they ask Beau what he did, Beau's reply: "Oh I played in the U.S. Open in San Francisco and was leading at one point." Hossler would have collected around 50K for his placement had he been eligible to collect. Enough said on this young man's skills.

Jordan Spieth, the National Champion Longhorn golfer and amateur finished at +7 and tied for 21st. Spieth would have collected $86,348.

The guys certainly repped the University well and one thing is for sure - our golf team kicks ass.
