The Texas Longhorns (3-1, 1-0) face the West Virginia Mountaineers (3-1, 1-0) on Saturday in Morgantown, West Virginia in their first road game of the season.  Both teams are coming off bye weeks after winning their Big 12 opening games.  The Mountaineers stunned Texas in Austin last year  42-41 on Will Grier’s two-point conversion, but Texas won its last outing in Morgantown 28-14. Under new head coach Neal Brown, West Virginia is putting the puzzle pieces together after attrition to the NFL and implementing a new coaching system. For Texas, getting over the injury bug is key, but the goal of competing in the Big 12 Championship and possibly more remains in-sight.

BJ Foster’s return is significant for Texas.  West Virginia has struggled with passing plays over 20 yards thus far in the season, but they will take some shots downfield against the Texas corners.  It’s all about Ehlinger doing his thing and managing this game from start to finish.  Longhorns should handle their business and leave Morgantown 4-1.

Don't expect to see the first part of the game. hoe u and kansas just played a 1 hour + long first quarter.

Seems like they should switch to the Texas game as the other game is already decided.    We will see.

Well, that was a craptastic defensive series.  Half ass waive at the ball by Foster on that TD.

Well awesome...way to let them take early control of the game and gain a lot of confidence.
