Game was cancelled due to weather. 3 big games this weekend against a bad K-State team on the road. Win all three or even two out of three, think we are in a position to host a regional. RPI at 11.

You are more positive than I am dabomb, and that's saying something.  I don't think we get to host a regional, regardless of what happens this weekend.

There's still a lot of moving going on amongst the top 20 teams.

Tonight's updates from around the college baseball world:

#4 FSU loses to UR UCF 8-3

#5 Louisville loses to #18 Indiana 7-2

Closer to home, and definitely one that may affect Texas:

#12 Houston beat #17 Rice 7-3

Will be close. IMO between Rice and Texas for the last spot. Like I said, I would probably rather go on the road anyways. Of course all of this is dependent on winning this weekend and probably winning a couple games in the big 12 tourney.

Quick note on this weekend's pitching; per Dustin McComas:

Parker French has been ill, but Augie said he broke his fever on Tuesday.  He will be ready to go this weekend, but the game plan right now is to move Dillon Peters to Friday starter, with French being the Saturday guy.

we may have caught a break. the game was 1-1 in the fifth when called. a loss to Tx St (rpi 80-something)wouldn't have looked good and a win wouldn't have helped much.

Some crazy scores tonight.

Baylor beat TCU. That will hurt TCU's RPI pretty significantly.

Houston with a horrible loss to Temple (14-29). That will really hurt their RPI.

Wow, Baylor had an RPI of 92 and Temple a RPI of 239. Houston better not drop another game to Temple or their hosting a regional went right out the window.
