Yes, Bamba sure doesn't look like a lottery pick.  That freshman big guy from Duke on the other hand was the real deal.

Texas has had this problem for years. Shaka loves athletes and guys who can jump out of the gym, but that is why Texas never has reliable scorers. Need to have some guys who can shoot the ball on a consistent basis. Athleticism only takes you so far.

Yep, my son's high school basketball coach was just like that. My son set the school record for 3 pointers in a game yet the coach insisted on playing 3 kids who were extremely athletic. And I do mean extremely. But they were out of control on the court, turned the ball over a lot, fouled a lot, and couldn't shoot for shit. I can't tell you how frustrating it was to watch.

How many point blank easy shots has Mo missed. Not sure if his defense is worth all the missed shots. Has Mo tried a 3 yet. We might win but this team is a huge disappointment

You wonder what coach K or Roy Williams could do with this roster.  I'm guessing a more organized offensive set to, less turnovers, and more disciplined defense.  But what do I know, I sat on my sofa tonight with the remote in one hand and my cell phone in the other posting here.

His contract probably keeps him around regardless of how this season plays out.  

Texas needs to start hanging banners for recruiting championships.  This is where we shine.
