Hahaha I can only hope you're right. Please God be right... "And the Longhorns come up empty handed!" I've heard that more this year than in any years I can remember. Not a Swoopes fan, never have been. Hope he can get it together for the second half but Heard better be ready by spring.

Not a very good half for Texas offensively. TCU is just a better team. Still a year or two away offensively.

Not sure why Swoopes didn't slide after 10 yards to kill the clock on that last play before the half.   Rose would have had a shot at a long FG.

I am as much a fan of Marcus Johnson as I am of Swoopes.

You know exactly why he didn't slide... The kid hasn't proven to be a solid decision maker at any point. Much less when the pressure is on.

The defense is playing at a championship level, but the offense and specials teams suck. This is not going to be pretty if the offense can't give the D some help in the 2nd half. They were getting tired at the end of the 1st half. Swoopes is still playing in 2A ball, it appears. Sad that we have no available backup that can play.

Swoopes looked hurt after that last run. Not sure if it's a hammy or what. Just hope we don't have to burn Heards shirt the last game of he regular season

As ugly of a 1st half that I've seen by any offense. Out standing D though.

I actually want an A&M Texas matchup. That would give our offense some confidence heading into next year. LSU's QB literally couldn't hit a WR with no defense on the field, yet they still ran for over 200 yards in the first half. 

If Swoopes is hurt you put anyone other than Heard in the game, and just run the ball. We aren't going to win this game anyways.
