Please. I missed doing PBP for the first two+ innings today. I may have to turn in my fan card.Compared to Joeywa we are ALL bad fans
Can't recall, but whoever that sumbitch is should be questioned about why he didn't predict a sweep. In the game one thread, didn't someone say that Texas was going to win 2 out of 3 from the frogs? Does anyone remember who said that?
Just curious![]()
I'm sure he meant to say "at least" 2 out of 3.Can't recall, but whoever that sumbitch is should be questioned about why he didn't predict a sweep.![]()
I see. Semantics.I'm sure he meant to say "at least" 2 out of 3.
I'd add the change Augie made in the infield as well. No errors in either TCU game for a team that had been treating ground balls like live grenades.Biggest key for Texas is pretty simple, they are somewhat healthy now.
Cooper is finally healthy enough to be in the starting rotation. This is big because it also allows Mayes to move to the closing role. Not to mention getting Sawyer back seems to have fixed some issues in the pen.
Throw in the fact Texas got its best power bat in Mathis back in the lineup and maybe it's best pure hitter in Rand back in the lineup.
It's all about personal sacrifice. Appreciate your dedication Bear. The key to this victory was my refusing to watch or listen to it. I spent most of the time at the craps table at the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles. Won a couple of grand.
I plan on a repeat performance today.
