Happy Sunday everyone.

Game today is schedule for 2 PM CST.

Today is Senior Day at the Disch, for the final home conference series of the year.   Seniors will be honored at 1:50

Matchup on the hill:

Texas: Nathan Thornhill (6-1, 0.97)

Ok St: Vince Wheeland (4-0, 1.38)

This has been a pretty tight series between two of the top teams in the Big12.

Today's game is for the series.

Friday: Texas won 3-0

Saturday: Ok St won 2-1

Waiting on lineup cards, and I'll post them when I get them.

A note on Wheeland; he was on the bump on Friday, and threw 42 pitches in relief.

I'd keep an eye on him, as I would imagine that he will only go for a few innings and the Ok St rotation will look more like a Tuesday game than a Sunday game.

Need to get to him early. Make this a bullpen game vs Thornhill, and it's a huge advantage for the Longhorns. It's already an advantage having Thornhill on the mound.

This is akin to Regionals/tourney play for the Pokes....gonna be an "any available arm for 1 good inning" kind of day.

Which is why I like our chances once we get into the tournament. Have plenty of arms coming out of the bullpen and Schiraldi is no slouch as a fourth starter.

The softball team won game 3 and the series against OSU. Their RPI has been rising. It's unlikely but not out of the question, that Texas could hold a regional in softball. Probably need to go undefeated the rest of the way to have a shot. 5 games left. 3 games vs Kansas and two more against Baylor. Baylor is good, Kansas not so much.

Texas wearing burnt orange jerseys w/white TEXAS across the chest, white pants w/burnt orange pinstripe down side, orange belts and black spikes and orange cap with white block T on the front.

Ok St wearing black jerseys with orange letters/numbers, gray pants and black cap w/OS on front.

First pitch coming up.

There ya go Barrera. Perfect throw. Umps strike zone is small, need to be patient today.

Not sure why Nate was throwing the change again after getting a foul ball off it on the 1-2 pitch.  I think Tres needs to know not to call that pitch there.
