hell, i love the color guy.  i'm ready to hire him as an assistant coach.

same ol' story though.  get the first two guys on, no outs and then parlay that start into a whole lot of nuthin'.

Fashion note: I really dislike the style of cap that the Pokes are wearing. Several teams use that secondary color on the front triangle - don't care for it, no matter whose it is.

how many times is cantu going to look at called strike three before augie sits his butt on the bench?  swing the f'ng bat, you baby!!

I'm going to take last night for the team. All those relief pitchers and I was so caught up in how poor the broadcaster was that I missed doing the insight into opposing relief pitchers.

Evidently the baseball gods chose to punish the team for my oversight. Sorry, fellas.
I was going to ask about this last night....but 8 relief pitchers is a ton of insight to provide, even for you.

Are you watching the game, old man?  LOW AND AWAY.  LOW AND AWAY.  Repeat after me: LOW AND AWAY.  I'd be more pissed if he swung at that crap.

joey, the umps are going to fk up the calls the whole game.  just like all the other games.  you just cannot stand up there and take those pitches and suddenly expect the umps to begin calling the pitches correctly.  yes, the pitch was a ball.  also, yes, cantu is sitting down.

it's almost to the point that if cantu gets two strikes on him, augie needs to call time and personally tell him to swing if the ball is in the same time zone.

Slim,

I think Cantu has the best eye of anyone not named Ben Johnson on this team.  I give him a pass.  He knows that wasn't a strike, and it hasn't been called all day up to this point.  You notice that Blue hasn't been giving that pitch to Hollingsworth.

T4 NEW P for OSU is Buffett

yes, i'm watching the game, joey.   my multiple posts should have indicated that, but i guess the comment was rhetorical.

how many times are you going to give the same f##king insult?  sorry i'm not in the proper age group for you.

guess what, the ump screwed the call.  just like he did the last time you told me that.  i don't give a flying rats ass you don't think it was a strike.  cantu has to swing at that pitch.  its close enough to swing at.  it may not be a technically correct strike, but he cannot take that pitch.

repeat after me.  LOW AND AWAY, STRIKE THREE.  LOW AND AWAY, STRIKE THREE.  LOW AND AWAY, STRIKE f##kING THREE.

i think i'll just sit the rest of this out.  good nite.
