Texas vs. Kansas, Nov 19 2016

Taking my son to his first UT football game at Kansas on Nov 19. Living in St. Louis, this is the closest game we can go to. Anyone else planning to make it up for that game? He is pumped and we're 3 months away from it.

How old is your son. My first live UT game was the Cotton Bowl when they played Tennessee. The Vol fans were so cocky before the game, but so quiet afterward.

My son is older (17 and a senior in HS).  We just haven't had a chance to make it to a game with his football season and distance.  This year I said the hell with and already committed to it.  I'm pretty sure we'll be easily spotted in the empty stadium.  I was hoping some Texas fans were making their way up so we could tailgate.

There'll be UT fans there. However, the Kansas fans will be over at the basketball arena.
