Either the UT pitching staff is nowhere near what we were expecting, or Cal may be Omaha bound.

Cal has a great shot at Omaha.

Our P's will be fine. Left Shugart in too long, no doubt. He's probably not a 40 pitch kind of closer. Got to get him out of here before that. Good chance for the staff to see what he can and can't do.

Touch loss. Not a doubt about it. Need to bounce back in LA this next weekend.

Anybody that knows me or had read what I've said on message boards knows how much it hurts me to say this, but it's time. I don't think he's lost the ability to coach, or lost the fire. It's just time. Same way it was time with Barnes and Mack, and Gus before them, it's time.

Had things to do today so I missed the game. Blowing a 5 run lead in the 9th at home makes me glad I did.

I'm afraid you might be right.

I've heard enough about these losses being good learning experiences. The only thing I've learned is we are not a good team. Not even close. And it was evident last weekend as well.

We are not recruiting well and haven't for quite a while.
