*****Texas vs. Baylor*****

I've hated Baylor well before they were playing good. The fact that they are a bunch of raping bastards that got the wrong end of the beating this time makes the win so much better.

I am a huge fan of the University of Texas, not any coach. This coaching staff is not doing their job, plain and simple.

I am one of the only dipshits that picked us to win this game, I do not see that happening next week. One win, especially a poorly coached win will not make me change my mind. Also I doubt that Baylor will be ranked in the top 10 when the seasons end, they are the big12 aggy.

For me this win, no matter how much complaining is going on around the program, is a positive for a young team. Finding a way to win a close game against an above average team is huge. This team lacks confidence, and a game like this helps. Playing/coaching at Texas comes with the highest level of scrutiny from the fan base or media in the country. I personally see a team most weeks that plays tight, trying not to make a mistake rather than loose and fast. These guys hear and see the negativity no matter how much they say they don't. The presser after the game shows the kind of guy Charlie is. The guy is a believer and understands rebuilding a program can take time. Charlie is angry these 'kids' have to hear constant negativity week in and week out. I will say Charlie is still the man and I have little doubt this team has great things ahead.. Charlie says 10 wins next season, I agree.

With all due respect... Of course this is a good win for a young team... and Im very happy about the outcome. I just dont seem much positivity to carry forward because we proven inconsistent beyond measure. I doubt this game provides much confidence and that isnt based on anything the fans have said or done. Its based on the fact they know that they not good away from DKR and that they could have very easily lost this game. Basically this team lacks confidence because they haven't done anything they should be confident about, and that is not on the fanbase... That is on them. IMO

IMHO... The coaches are the problem... When you sign for the amount of money Charlie signed for you know the name of the game, and that is to win. Up until recently I was one of Charlies biggest supporters. I no longer am. He is a great man and a great leader of young men. He however is a very bad HC. He makes poor decisions with the clock and otherwise, he apparently cant motivate his team AT ALL, as a "defensive guru?"(that speaks for itself). For the love of god if he is the HC and hasn't told Gilbert to stop that bullshit with the "18 wheeler" package that says a lot, to me. Good coaches use the tools they have and make them work. Bill Snyder would be winning the Super Bowl with this team!

This nonsense(not calling anything you said nonsense, the concept in general) about rebuilding the program has been taken a bit too far. Its not like he was given a team with no talent in some shitty city in the US. He was given a team with talent but poor work ethic and crappy attitude. This was not a program in a dumpster somewhere that wasn't doing anything right. We had gotten stale and needed to be fixed, not rebuilt. So in my opinion he has had plenty enough time to show progress and he has not. But as Ive said before, I place 99% of the blame on the coaching staff. The coaching staff has been a huge hindrance. IMO I am super interested to see what Gilbert does when he doesn't have Foreman to rely on 90% of the time.

I get that the kids see the negative but that is life. Its simple cause and effect. You give up 400 yards on the ground and people are going to have harsh critiques. If you dont like what people are saying, change something. Poor discipline, bad tackling, and minimal intensity are all things they can fix. Ultimately they are the onfield reason why all the negative talk is happening. Off field the coaches are sucking, pure and simple. It seems as though we do not adjust at the half... The opposition always does. If Charlie and Co dont like the kids hearing negativity week in and week out then they should stop putting the team is shitty positions.

Just my 2 cents...
