Horns up 6-0 after 2 innings, another rain delay in effect.  That was 1 hour ago, not sure what is happening now.

edit:  bottom of 2nd in rain delay....from what I have been able to find in searches.

Anyone know if there is a time limit to get this game in this evening?  If they can’t finish would they resume in the future from the current score/inning?  Any BIG12 officials on HS this evening?

Cannot begin a new inning after midnight is what I’ve been told. 

I believe the game would be rescheduled for completion at a later date, but not 100% sure on that part yet   Think they’d pick it up where it left off though

That's why it was cancelled....the workers in the concession stand had early classes.

So we get screwed out of a huge lead and the game won’t be made up or resumed?  What happens if tie breakers are needed for conference seeding/placing and we have less games?  Get off to a great lead all for naught.  

I don’t think Texas was “screwed out of” anything. Big12 umpires and school officials followed protocol. A series split benefits nobody, but sometimes unforeseen circumstances happen.
