****Texas vs Baylor Baseball-Saturday Thread****

If the Longhorns can get Hinojosa's bat going, this lineup will have some decent depth down the order. Marlow, Johnson, Payton and Barrera is a nice order at the top. With Shaw and Carter near middle/bottom of the order, we just need one more bat out of Clemens and Hinojosa to start hitting.

Love watching Peters pitch. Doesn't throw hard or nasty, but is a smart pitcher. Type of guy you watch in batting practice and aren't impressed at all, but is a completely different type of pitcher when he actually steps on the mound.

Carter is a patient hitter and a very good gap hitter. I almost think I would like to see the order being Marlow, Carter, Johnson, Payton, and Barrera. Lots of speed at the top of the order too. Probably need to see a few more games from Carter though before I'm sold on that idea.

My goodness, how was that not a homer. What a rip by Barrera. I'm starting to agree, the fences need to be brought in a little.

Back to back very good at bats for Hinojosa. Maybe he's getting into a rhythm now. 3-1 Texas. Big run there with the way Peters is pitching.
