Texas vs Alcorn State basketball game thread

[utisdabomb12]

Same starters as Friday.

[utisdabomb12]

8-0 Texas at first timeout. Taylor looks good.

[utisdabomb12]

15-0 at the 15 minute mark. This is going to get ugly.

[Aaron Carrara]

19-1 Horns lead with 12:21 left in 1st half.

[utisdabomb12]

19-1 at the 11 minute mark. Alcorn State still doesn't have a FG.

Texas men may or may not make it to the final four, but they are going to be fun to watch and win a lot of games. They are very good, and may be in the hunt. The women may be overrated, as they didn't look really dominant vs UTSA.

Lammert is playing some solid ball. He doesn't have any points but 6 assist and 1 block that ESPN doesn't show him to have. Turner has a beautiful touch to his shot!

[Chitownhorn]

This team is doing exactly what very good teams do when they play team that are not nearly as talented. They are putting their foot on their throats and not letting them up.

I'm not sure that kid for Alcorn called glass on that last shot.

Connor Lammert is putting together a nice game.

[tejasrulz]

Horns win 85-53 and Lammert had a very good game. This team is going to be fun to watch. I loved when Allums got his bucket at the end!

[Aaron Carrara]

Texas beats Alcorn State 85-50, improves to 2-0.

Connor Lammert finishes with 8 points & 7 assists.  Myles Turner scored 10 points, hauled in 7 rebounds and had 6 blocks.

Taylor (10 points) and Holland (9 points) each had double digits in scoring.

[utisdabomb12]

Turner had 6 blocks last night in 20 minutes. So essentially he had 6 blocks in a half. Kid is a stud.

I was so at ease watching Texas Longhorns playing this game of Basketball. No stress at all
