Pretty much indicative of our day at the plate.  So many missed opportunities.  Won't/can't blame the pitching.

Stop with the bunts and play aggressive for once

Hard to do with no sluggers.

We cannot move runners/clear the basepaths

We need to recruit some.

The way we do it, we basically have no choice but to play small ball

And this gives our pitchers no room for mistakes -- they are always on the razors edge

Playing small ball was not our problem today. We had plenty of chances with runners on base and failed.

Probably unlikely we win the CWS now. All about building experience and getting the CWS jitters out of the way for next year. Difficult to win it all with so many underclassmen seeing significant time.
