this is going to go down as one of augie's best coaching jobs.
after last season, with the lousy bats and the dead ball and the death valley of a hitting ball park, this is something. i've been critical at times, but damn, this is just great. six more outs and we'll go to omaha for the 35th time.
think about that. 35 frickin' times. i'll bet that's more than whichever other seven teams make it, COMBINED!! And it'll be Augies 14th trip!
