Big time win for Texas. Ended that Big 12 streak, won the series against a ranked team on the road, and have a shot to be ranked in the top ten in some polls next week. Pitching was once again fantastic. Gave up 2 runs in 2 games against an excellent hitting Tech team. We got us a team.

awesome win, guys. that's how baseball go as ron washington would say. ups and downs. gutty win against a good team at their place.

and, we break the conference series losing streak to boot.

Curtiss needs some credit. Pitched three innings after that 9th inning, and held it together when a collapse could have easily happened.

This team has an it quality that has been missing. The last two years this game is lost in the tenth as they would have pouted up and tucked tail. I've said it before this team hosts a regional and goes to a super. After that it's a crapshoot and you've got a chance to be real special.
