Clemens- Infield single

Zubia- Works a full count. Walk

Hamilton- Sacrifice bunt. Runner advance to 2nd and 3rd

Reynolds- Infield single up the middle. Clemens scores and Zubia rounds 3rd and is almost thrown out, but dives back in safely. Wow that was a close play.

6-4 Texas

Ellis- Strikeout swinging

Petrinsky- Flyout to LF. The wind knocked that one down and it looked like it was off the end of the bat.

6-4 A&M

That was a very good play by the aggy infielder which ended up costing Texas a run.

I must admit at first I thought we got away with one but the replay showed Zubia avoided the tag.

Top 8

Todd- Strikeout looking and then Todd is ejected for saying something to the home plate umpire

Shaw- Infield single up the middle

A&M is going to the bullpen again. New pitcher will be RHP Nolan Hoffman

Dang, right after I type that the aggy SS makes another good play but Shaw beat out the throw. Then they show on TV he was the college freshman player of the year in 2017. With plays like that, I can see why.

Hamilton- Single into LF. Bases are loaded for Ryan Reynolds

Andy McGuire will go pinch run for Zubia, but the umpires will discuss this since McGuire is currently the pitcher. They ultimately decide it is okay.

Todd's ejection leads to wholesale defensive changes. Hibbeler back to LF, Petrinsky from C to 1B and McCann in at C.

Bottom 8

Blake- Single into RF

Helman- Strikeout swinging

Foster- HBP

Shewmake- Groundout to 1st, unassisted

Coleman- Strikeout looking

We are heading to the 9th. A&M leads 6-5

1 run loss, but seems like the Horns were never in the game.
Disagree. And if you were to find a sane ag, (I know, I know,) they’d say it was too close for comfort. There was some puckering going on at Blue Bell last night.
