****** TEXAS SPRING GAME THREAD ******

@Sirhornsalot I’d like to hear your opinion on the game

Didn't see much separation between Ehlinger and Buechelle. Both did what they have done before so well, but they're a little better than they were. They're both improving and thats good.

Right now, I think Cam has the edge over Casey for third QB. Casey looks good though.

The running game made me want to puke. Our backs are just not more than adequate. Carter was okay and I think he was the best of the bunch. But he was just okay.

Ingram will start over any of them.

OL, I saw improvement but I didn't expect to see a lot. Hand is still relatively new and toying with his combinations. Things will pick up in Fall when we have a full cupboard to use.

I thought Leitao looked good.

WRs looked better than any group on the field, IMO. LJ Humphrey was MVP of that group, with Johnson close behind. Both of these guys are going to make tons of plays come Fall.

Defensively, we're about where I thought we'd be. Nice coverage. Front 7 was tough. This is a very good thing because when you lose what we've lost on that side, you'd expect to see a drop off. I didn't.

Overall it wasn't a thrilling game and we didn't show too much but did what needed to be done to gauge where this team is at. If you were looking for fireworks, you didn't see much of that. But I'm ok with it. We saw what we needed to see.

Per Jeff Howe of 247, Anthony Cook was nursing a hamstring injury and was held out as a precaution.
