USA TODAY unleashed the 2012 preseason coaches poll and Texas stands in good position at #15. Alabama taking second seat to the LSU Tigers even though they received more first place votes. The complete poll can be found below. First place votes in parenthesis. Comments?

Michigan State is WAY too high.

Texas should be closer to 20 realistically but 15 is not a stretch. Good position for the guys to see if they can do some damage and get a little respect.
