Yes he's a 2018 kid and he's a pretty dang good one. Westfield's DL coach just got hired on at UH to replace Giles. This kid was his next star stud in the pipeline following Ed Oliver.

In my book, the #1 2018 prospect out of the Houston area and #2 overall underclassman only behind Katy RB Deondrick Glass.  Spring Westfield has a reputation for playing after the whistle and accumulating 15 yard penalties.  Coburn isn't one of those type of players.  A DT who handles 300+ pounds with no issue and plays with a very high motor.  He will be a difference maker at the collegiate level and a complete joy to watch on Friday nights.

I talked with Coburn a little bit today and he's really excited about the offer. At The Under the Lights Camp he mentioned how much a Texas offer would mean.
