Another game that Texas had a great shot at winning and they couldn't close strong. Chapman was a stud and if we can get that kind of play from him every game we would be a much better team. J'Covan Brown didn't get going until the second half and we only shot 34% from the floor. Kabaongo was erratic again today and had 3 turnovers. He needs to get a handle on those...

Notable stats:

*The Texas bench outscored the Kansas bench 21-5

*Texas went 16-17 from the free throw line (94.1%)

*Horns went 8-19 from the 3-point line

Brown needs to get more out of his players, without question. Our tournament resume includes a win over Temple. Nothing more. We still have time to save face but we need to get it together now. Baylor up next.

It's just not their year this year. They are a young team and cannot cath the breaks when they need them. NIT sounding more and more like a strong possibility. Can't say I mind. Making the NCAA's and losing in the first round is not fun.

That's the problem with the Horns under Barnes, they are always a young team. He has an one and done team every year.

I know but hard to blame him for kids bolting for the NBA.

I know I have become a one trick pony on this subject and need to shelve it..IMHO
