His name is Adrian Colbert from Mineral Wells. At 6-foot-1 he is the best safety in Texas high school football. Defensive backs coach Duane Akina got AC to commit after he visited Austin for the football banquet. He had previously been committed to Baylor. Quite a haul for UT and # 24.

In other news, Texas A & M has threatened to file a lawsuit if the Football Banquet is not moved.

I saw this earlier and it is very impressive. The recruiting genius of the staff is nothing short of amazing. I know we lose Christian Scott and a few others so Colbert will probably play the minute he steps on campus.

As far as the football banquet and A&M... let 'em sue. They are such chincy little shits.

We also received a commit from Kenny Vaccaro's little brother, Kevin, who is a DB also. I am starting to think Texas needs to pursue Dayne Crist NOW!!!! We get a strong qb in there next year and it is demolition time.

I am really not so sure about Crist. Brian Kelly is one of the best QB coaches in the nation. If he doubted his throwing ability it really makes me wonder if he can get the job done.

My best friend who is a ND graduate came over yesterday and said that Crist would be an amazing addition to the Texas lineup next year. Evidently the Irish alumni are not too thrilled with Kelly and some of the decisions he has made while in Southbend. Supposedly most feel like Kelly didn't give Crist a fair shake when he was benched in the South Florida game. I read an article somewhere where they said Joe Montana himself couldn't have helped the Irish win that game against S. Florida!

I like our guys and just want us to maximize our talent while we have 'em.
