The kickoff return for a touchdown by Denton Ryan, on a misdirection handoff, was used by DKR. However, the officials then ruled it was illegal and Texas stopped using it. I never understood why they ruled it illegal.

Thoughts on Dixon committing  to the good guys?  Seemed to be trending well last time we covered him in the board.

What I've heard is that Dixon is just waiting to see who we hire as an OC.

The craziest play I've seen in a state final just happened. Ryan is punting. Snap goes over punter's head. Punter chases the ball and gets to it in the end zone. Instead of picking it up and punting, he simply kicks the ball downfield about 30-35 yards. Shadow Creek lets it bounce a couple times, then picks it up and scoots into the end zone for the score. Wow.

Ja'Tavion Sanders is having himself a good game. I could see him as an edge rusher but also could be a TE.

Bowman is explosive. You can hear the crowd get quiet when he gets the ball.

Wish we could see Xavion Alford from Shadow Creek. He's still nursing a knee injury tho.
