This could really help in the future when competing for recruits..

The Texas Baseball Alumni Scholarship will be used to help fund scholarships each year for baseball student-athletes. Contributions in the past year have almost doubled the initial amount to more than $600,000. The goal is to reach $775,000 by the end of 2016, which will cover the cost needed to fund one full Texas Athletics scholarship. The newly established endowment will help offset funds needed to cover 11.7 annual baseball scholarships, the maximum number allowed by the NCAA.
