Well...maybe it does matter where you start if you want to be in the top 4. I've read that if you don't start "high" in the rankings (top 20), your odds of making it into the playoff aren't very good. At #40, we would need help to make the playoffs...not that I'm expecting it, but just saying.

I think what it really means if you are outside of the top 20 to start, there is not much chance you go undefeated and win your conference.

But, I tell you what...IF we go undefeated and win the Big 12...I like our chances of being in the top 4 at the end of the year.  We may not make it, but I like our chances.
