Texas beats Creighton to advance to the Final 4 where they will face #1 seed Nebraska which will be a rematch of the NC game from last year.

Unseeded Creighton was trying to advance to the Final 4 for the first time in their history and while they pulled off some big upsets to get to this game, they were just out matched. Minus the 2nd set where Texas had to fight back from a deficit, the Horns were in total control of this match.

Next stop for the ladies, Columbus, Ohio!

That was an asskicking. I don't know much about college volleyball, but they say this is our 5th straight trip to the Final Four. That sounds pretty damn good.

I think what is amazing about this run is in my opinion, this is not one of the strongest Texas teams Coach Elliott has had. I also believe it shows how good of a coach he is.

Since Texas runs a 5-1 offense when Collins, who is a great setter, moves up to the front row she is a liability due to her height. However she makes up for it in her athleticism. Paulina while a great leader, isn't the most consistent OH. Yes she gets a lot of kills but she also gets a lot of attempts. Her hitting percentage is the 2nd lowest on the team (just ahead of White's who is a freshman and has improved over the season). However both of those ladies are seniors and they have so much heart and determination.

Next year Texas will have White back as an OH. At 6-4 Nwanebu could either stay at OP (right side hitter) or move to OH. We will have both middles, our libero and top DS coming back along with a solid bench for support. Texas will also have the nations #1 recruit, 6-3 Lexi Sun,Texas also signed Ashley Shook, a 6-2 setter and #6 overall recruit. Shook will more than likely be the starter next year and her height will help when she rotates to the front if Texas continues to run a 5-1 offense. Texas also signed 6-4 Brionne Butler, the #1 middle (#2 overall) in the nation to add more depth to a stacked bench.
