I have always enjoyed your posts on other boards DJ and glad to see you here. See if you can work on these guys to get a board on this site dedicated strictly to baseball. What are your thoughts about the likelihood of Augie staying if the Horns fail to make Omaha this year? I think he has to at least make a super-regional or pressure is going to build like it has for Barnes and Mack. He is a far more accomplished resume than those two which I am sure buys him more leash, but the past few years the team has not lived up to the 2000-09 standards.

As I approach the '14 season, I am more realistic of the season... I know that Augie's days are numbered...I mean heck he is old...

Curious as to the evolution of our closer position. We had a long run of elite closers from the start of the decade through the middle of the decade and have not really been able to find those guys since? Is that a change in what Skip looks for vs. what Frank looked for?
