Walk me through the logic why Briles leaves Baylor for aggy.
At Baylor, he is the best he has had for a while and will be given a lot of rope if he backslides. Also, he knows the culture at Baylor and fits in.
At aggy, he is going to have to deliver and whatever he gives them will never be enough. UT and OU aren't going to be down forever and eventually the Sumlin method of looking the other way at getting arrested and failing drug tests isn't going to work. Financially, aggy athletics has had to borrow money from the academic side 5 of the last 7 years to pay bills and they are committed to the new stadium, so there a limit how much more they can throw at coaches' salaries.
I just don't see aggy as an upgrade from Baylor. Aggy is having its greatest run in three quarters of a century and Baylor is still ranked hire.
I say Briles would stay at Baylor.
