Sumlin gone from A&M?

Not to sound racist or anything, but I think A&M will have a very hard time recruiting the best African-American football players and athletes without a guy like Sumlin, or Strong, as head coach.

I worked that general area for awhile. There is NOTHING of value unless you're going to buy Hearne and bulldoze the entire place.

A&M will most likely bump his salary close to 5 mil. In order for Sumlin to break even at USC they will need to offer over 7mil. USC is not going to do that for a coach who hasn't won anything. I also heard Sumlin built a 10K sq ft house on 4 acres in College Station and his family is settled. Take that for what it is worth.

I read that she has a thing for Hollywood and the red carpet lifestyle. Do they have carpet in CS? Folks need to remember College Station's sister city Bryan is just a stones throw away and it sux worse than CS, course you could float the Brazos...if you're bored.

Let us not forget the closest cities are Caldwell and Madisonville...2 culture hotspots on par w/ anything Miss or Ala have to offer.

Why wouldn't they love it? They're probably treated like royalty. But Kevin Sumlin has been around. I doubt he thinks much of CS outside of the fact that he too is a deity at the moment. Imagine if things went slightly south there. What is there to fall back on then?

She is going to the brand new high school which is beautiful by the way. I've been there for a tennis meet and a track meet. I can see your point that it definitely is not USC. Of course I'm not sure how good of a coach Sumlin actually is.
