It reads like a "he said, she said" rape after the fact case.  But, bottom line both players obviously broke team rules by having her in the dorm room after curfew.  I expect both will be suspended indefinitely pending the results of the case.

I expected Texas to 'shirt the entire group. Pending the outcome of this case, it's possible that the coaches tab one to join the rotation.

Just heard this on the radio: the improper photography charge was because during the alleged act, Sanders attempted to record it, but had the flash on his camera turned on so the girl noticed it.

I wholeheartedly believe that you are innocent until proven guilty, however, I also think it is a shame that these young men would put themselves into a situation where they would be charged with such allegations.  I seem to remember that "respecting women" is a part of the new Longhorn mantra.  Even if they argue that anything that happened was consensual, the presence of an activated camera, does not pass the smell test.  On the one hand, there is the legal standing of these two young men, and their guilt or innocence is still to be determined.  On the other hand, they put themselves in a position where their behavior castes a negative light on the Longhorn Football Program.  Time to pay the piper for that.  Time for someone else to step up.  I hope that this gets the attention of all of the other players.  It is easy for us to make fun of the aggies for their indiscretions, and I surely do love a good aggie bashing, but Texas needs to take care of its' own house, and I am sure that Coach Strong will surely do just that.

I think, while it is important to talk about how this will effect the season, it does not come close to the effect it could have on the lives of these three individuals.  Sanders comes off as a sexual sadist and Meander his gutless serf. Now I say "comes off" because this is alleged at this time, but my personal feelings are she is telling the truth. I played college ball and I have seen this same scenario play out with my teammates time and time again. None of them ever encountered any legal issues, but I always wondered what makes guys in that position want to have even the slightest chance of jeopardizing all that they have. Coach Strong will make examples of them, this entire incident is in direct conflict with one of the core values. Even if the charges are dropped I still feel like they violated that core value in particular. "Treat women with respect", that goes for any and all women, staff, fans, co-ed, any woman, even if her respect for herself is lacking (not implying the alleged victim was lacking respect for herself).
