Now, Juan Grande!  If you could just set up a real time game thread like that, we would really be in bidness!  ;)

Go Spurs Go!  Never had a favorite Texas NBA team but if I have to, I root for Spurs over Mavs and Rockets.  Perhaps because SA is closer to Austin.

Warriors, Bulls, and Knicks are my teams.  And I root for any team KD is on.

This game is well in hand in the forth quarter ... and thunder bumblers are rumbling  about out side, much to Miss Lillie's chagrin!  I just love thunderstorms ... I know that there can be "Danger Will Robinson!  Danger!", but I just love their majesty.  Maybe it is because I did not see many storms in my early years.  I was born in 1950 in Sweetwater, and my mother told me that I did not see rain until I was about three years old, because of the drought in the early fifties.  I think I remember the first time I saw rain.  My family had given up trying to keep a yard, and our "Yard" was nothing but red dust from reduced sandstone.  I loved laying in the sandy soil eyeball to eyeball with the red ants, watching them bring their bounty across the "yard" down into their den.  I can remember one afternoon when my father's mother was visiting inside with my mother and I was laying face down in the rusty sand outside watching the ants do their due diligence.  There was a rumble in the sky ... something I do not think that I had ever heard before.  As I lay there looking at eyeball level across the sandy yard, these big spitballs of rain started cascading down, splattering in the dust like little bombs, each kicking up their own little dusty mushroom cloud ... one after the other.  I remember that part as if I were just there.  I do not remember what happened next, but my Mother reminded me of it many times as I grew up.  She said that I came running into the house, throwing open the screen door with eyes as big as saucers, screaming at the top of my lungs ... she said I said, "Momma!  Momma! ... It's just a sthpittin' and a sthpittin' out there!"  You see, in those days, I had just a little bit of a lisp!  To this day, I still like the thunderstorms!  ;)

The thunder bumblers are rumbling in the distance now, and I am being insistently reminded that it is time that I must take Lillie and Mr. Mikey out for their evening constitutional ... I think that it is going to smell really good out there.  ;)

Congrats to the Spurs.

And before haters on Lebron gloat. This team is much different than the one 4 years ago. Wade has aged a lot and Bosh has regress. Lebron is still Lebron but he has no dependable 2nd option. Will he leave Miami? Idk but he will opt out
