Some notes from OTF, paraphrased
Kobi Black, Graceson Littleton, and Kade Phillips have all looked great in spring practice. Regardless of who starts of the three, we have a good CB and high quality depth behind the starter.
Lacey has looked great so far. Has a real presencec about him. Arm isn't as strong as the others, but he has an "it" factor that makes up for the issue.
Justice Terry and Lance Jackson have received a lot of praise. Brevard and January seem to be the cream of the DT bunch, although our latest pick up isn't in Austin yet.
Transfer LB Brad Spence has been the surprise of the camp.
Nick Brooks keeps getting lots of praise. Phrase "1st round pick" keep getting tossed out there.
Liivingstone and then McCutcheon seem to be the top two WRs so far. McCutcheon has a leg up on the trio of Jamie Ffrench, Michael Terry and Kaliq Lockett because he's worked in a more sophisticated offense before and the others have not. Aaron Butler has been a dud, unfortunately.
RB Gibson has shed some fat and it is showing up in his quickness. Clark is running 3rd string behind Wisner and Gibson.
