Today marked the first day on the field for Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian.

Apparently, we're pretty out of shape right now. Sark mentioned wanting to get to a point where practices are finished strong instead of in survival mode.

 
I guess when they say "up" or "down" lbs, then they are comparing to last year at this time, or maybe some official weigh-in during fall camp in August...but I'm just guessing

 
I had Jake Smith and Jordan Whittington on my do not trust on staying healthy. Unfortunately, it didn't take long for Jake Smith.
Man that sucks for the kid.  Waited all this time to get back out there and show the new coaches what you can do and it's ended just like that.  That really sucks.

Well, he's got plenty of film now and broken foots tend to heal fairly fast.

 
It all depends on what bone is broken. Some types are notorious for never fully healing.
Was speaking from experience as I've broke both my feet in the past and around that age. But of course, you're the doc so I will always defer to you.

So not one position group is practicing at all?  They’ve got the entire team shut down?
