In what feels like the main event after a strong undercard of games here at AT&T stadium Southlake will take on Guyer.

We are talking two programs that are always in the hunt for the state title.  Southlake has Quarterback Ryan Agnew and running back Lil'Jordan Humphrey to watch in this game, while Guyer will showcase 2017 phenom QB Shawn Robinson.  Robinson has a Texas offer and has called Texas his leader so far.  Excited to see what happens here.  I did run into Longhorn freshman Quarterback Jerrod Heard on the sideline, but was denied an interview as Jerrod just wanted to enjoy the game.  I don't blame him.  For those wondering Guyer is an easy 6'2 and looked like he was a little thicker in the upper body.  No report on forearms.

Guyer's junior linebacker Michael Carrillo is in on absolutely everything.  Every time I watch Guyer that kid is making every tackle.

Shawn Robinson completes a 6 yard touchdown pass as Guyer goes right down the field.  His name is Shawn Robinson, he scores when he wants.

15 yard run by Lil'Jordan Humphrey puts Southlake back on top 10-6.  Guyer missed their XP and I didn't notice because I was typing.

Guyer throws an interception and Southlake scores on the next play to make it 17-7 Dragons.

Guyer making some mental mistakes on snaps just send one over the head of their punter and Southlake will take over at the Guyer 18.  This one has a chance to get out of hand quick.  Guyer doesn't look poised right now and need to re-group here.

Southlake capitalizes on two guyer turnovers to get 14 points and go up 24-7.  Guyer needs to answer.

The opening drive Guyer looked dominant and hasn't done anything since.  Southlake all over this one 31-7

Guyer scores on the final play of the half on a 6 yard touchdown pass from Shawn Robinson.  31-14 Southlake at the half.  A real treat for me as I'm currently seated next to Cedar Hill head coach Joey McGuire and the rest of the staff scouting.

Guyer will get the ball coming out of the half.  Robinson has battled but has been under duress, but the story of this game has been the inability of guyer to make a stop on defense.  Southlake has yet to punt.

Southlake aided by 2 personal fouls on one play score on a 3 yard run by Lil'Jordan Humphrey to take a 17 point lead 38-21

throwback attempt by Guyer is returned for a touchdown by Southlake.  Dragons up 51-27
